Chat with your AI employees on your phone and tablet
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Open VEP in your phone's browser or from its icon on your home screen. One list holds every chat with your AI employees, colleagues and teams, and the message bar works like the messengers you already use.

Why it matters
You and your team can check what an AI employee has finished, answer a colleague or send a voice message from wherever you are. The layout is familiar, so work keeps moving away from your desk.
- Before
- On a phone, VEP could show desktop windows squeezed onto a small screen, with AI employees, people and groups in separate parts of the list.
- Now
- Phones and tablets get one chat list and a familiar message bar, laid out for touch in any orientation.
What you get
- One list for every chat: your AI employees, colleagues, team and company chats and VEP Support, pinned chats first and then the newest, with unread counters and mute.
- Search that finds more: one search field finds your chats, people you have not written to yet and, after three letters, the messages that contain your words.
- A familiar message bar: in the chat with your AI employee, the paperclip sits on the left, the field grows as you write, and the microphone on the right turns into a send button while you type.
- See who is writing: the top of the chat shows when your AI employee is writing its answer and when a colleague is typing.
- Easy to tap: every control in a chat is sized for a thumb, and voice messages get a play button and a progress bar you can tap to jump to any point.
- Namesakes told apart: when AI employees from different companies share a name, for example a personal one and one at work, each shows its role and company.
How to use it
Open VEP on your phone
Go to vep.live in your phone's browser and sign in. While you stay signed in, vep.live opens your chats directly.
Add it to your home screen
On an iPhone or iPad, open vep.live in Safari and sign in. With your chats on the screen, tap Share; if you do not see it, tap More (•••) first. Tap Add to Home Screen; if it is not in the list, scroll down or tap View More. Keep Open as Web App on if you see it, then tap Add. VEP in Safari shows these steps in Settings > Install the app. If VEP was on your iPhone or iPad home screen before, delete its icon and add VEP again this way to get the new name, icon and dark start screen. On Android, use your browser's menu. The icon opens your chats; sign in once the first time you use it.
Find any chat
Scroll the list, or type in Search at the top. Chats and people show as you type, and messages that contain your words show after three letters.
Keep the list tidy
Press and hold a chat to pin it, mute it, archive it or mark it as read. Or swipe it left to mute or archive it, and right to mark it as read or pin it.
Write, attach or talk
Open a chat and type your message, tap the paperclip to attach a file, or use the microphone to record a voice message.
Start a new chat
On Chats, tap the compose button at the top right, then pick an AI employee or a colleague, or tap New Group to start a group chat.
Good to know
- On a tablet, the chat list and the open chat sit side by side.
- In chats with colleagues and groups, times and dates follow your phone's language and time zone, and the Today and Yesterday labels update at midnight.
Updates to this feature
Long answers in chat show an empty line between paragraphs
Paragraphs of an answer are one empty line apart while it arrives and when it is finished, list items follow each other, and a short answer keeps a compact bubble.
Your message goes to the chat on your screen
Messages, replies and mentions stay with the chat they were written in, also after a notification opened another chat on top of it.
Text you have not sent stays in its own chat
Unsent text waits in the chat and topic where it was typed, also after VEP was closed and opened again on your phone.
Read your chats on your phone without a connection
VEP on your phone shows the chat list and the messages you last read when there is no connection, and says so when a chat has nothing saved yet.
Messages written without a connection go out exactly once
Messages written without a connection wait on the phone and go out once when the connection returns, also after VEP was closed while sending.
Messages sent on a weak connection arrive once
Messages sent again after a dropped connection appear once, notify once and get one answer, and VEP confirms them as sent instead of showing an error.
Encrypted chats read as text without a connection
Encrypted chats on your phone show saved messages as text with no connection, and a message you write offline waits on the phone and goes out encrypted.

Live voice may share up to three short findings while a longer answer is prepared, and stays quiet whenever you speak.

Longer questions in live voice get a quick spoken answer from what your AI employee knows, and the full answer still follows in the chat.
What you say in live voice joins the answer in progress
Words you add in live voice join the answer in progress, and one answer covers everything you asked in that moment.
Speaking again in live voice keeps the answer in progress on screen
Answers in progress stay on screen when you speak again in live voice, and your new phrase gets its own reply right after them.
Live voice answers about a second after you finish speaking
Live voice notices the end of your sentence about a second after your last word, also in noise, and never waits more than four seconds.
