Why it matters
Live voice lets you talk with your AI employee while your hands are busy. Picking up after a short break means fewer taps to reconnect and fewer moments when it cannot hear you.

- After a break, live voice on iPhone could come back without hearing you or ask you to tap to reconnect, and a short sound interruption could end it.
- Now
- Live voice on iPhone picks up more reliably after a break, opens a fresh microphone when needed and waits out short interruptions of the sound.
What you get
- Picks up after a break: when the screen turns off or you switch apps mid-conversation, live voice waits for the microphone to come back before it resumes its sound.
- A fresh microphone: if iPhone silenced the microphone, for example after another app or a call used it, live voice opens a fresh one instead of listening to silence.
- A new chance every time: each return gets its own attempt to recover, so a second break in the same conversation is less likely to end with a request to tap and reconnect.
- Short interruptions are waited out: if iPhone briefly interrupts the sound while VEP stays on screen, live voice waits a few seconds for it to come back. A longer one, such as a phone call, may still ask you to tap to reconnect.
