What you say in live voice joins the answer in progress
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of Chat with your AI employees on your phone and tablet
Talking with your AI employee in live voice? What you say while it is still working on a longer answer joins that work, the same way a second typed message does.
Why it matters
In a conversation you often add a detail or a second question before the first answer is ready. Folding it into the work in progress gets you one complete answer sooner, without a second wait.
- Before
- Something you said while a longer answer was being prepared waited until that answer was finished and then started a second, separate piece of work.
- Now
- Words you add in live voice join the answer in progress, and one answer covers everything you asked in that moment.
What you get
- One answer for both: your AI employee takes your new words into account while it is still working and gives one answer that covers them.
- A quick reply too: your AI employee also answers what you added with a short spoken reply right away, while it folds your words into the work.
- No second wait: in our tests on a recorded conversation, an added question reached the work in progress about half a minute sooner than before.
- Same as typing: a message you type while an answer is coming already worked this way; speaking now behaves the same.
- Good to know: words said just after the longer answer has finished are answered on their own a few seconds later, as typed messages are.
