Archive a chat, and a new message brings it back

Keep your chat list tidy: archive a chat with your AI employee and it moves out of your list. It keeps working and comes back with its next message, unless you muted it.
Why it matters
You keep only the chats you need in view without losing any of them. An archived chat keeps its history and features, and unless you muted it, its next message puts it back in front of you.
- Before
- Archiving from inside a chat with your AI employee left the chat in your list, and some features of that chat, such as live voice on the phone, could stop working.
- Now
- An archived chat moves out of your list, works as usual, and returns when a new message arrives, unless you muted it.
What you get
- Out of your list: the chat moves to your archived chats, which show as one row at the top of your chat list whenever there is something in them.
- Back with the next message: when a new message arrives in an archived chat you have not muted, the chat returns to your list on its own. A muted chat stays in the archive.
- Works like any other chat: an archived chat keeps its history, and features such as live voice and notifications keep working in it.
- The same result either way: on a computer, the Archive button inside the chat now does exactly what archiving from your chat list does.
- Earlier archives recover: a chat archived from inside the chat before this change works normally again after its next message, or as soon as you start live voice in it.
How to use it
Archive a chat
In your chat list, press and hold the chat with your AI employee and choose Archive, or swipe it to the left and tap Archive.
Find it again
Tap Archived Chats at the top of your chat list. Open any archived chat and use it as usual.
Bring it back
Press and hold the chat and choose Unarchive, or wait: unless the chat is muted, the next new message brings it back to your list.
