What you teach your AI employee stays in use
For business owners and managers
All the standing instructions you gave your AI employee now reach its written answers in your chat. What it learned stays in use until something newer replaces it, however long ago it learned it.
Why it matters
You can teach your AI employee once and rely on it later. A rule you set months ago, such as who approves discounts or how to word a quote, still counts today, so you do not have to repeat it.
- Before
- On AI employees that had learned a lot, some standing instructions could be left out of an answer, and older knowledge could be set aside or count for less just because it was old.
- Now
- Your AI employee reads your standing instructions first when it writes an answer in the chat, and what it knows stays in use until something newer replaces it.
What you get
- Standing instructions on top: they are the first thing your AI employee draws on when it writes you an answer in the chat, so even an AI employee you have taught a lot has them all in front of it.
- Nothing expires: what your AI employee learned is not set aside because of its age. It stays in use until a newer fact replaces it.
- Old and new count alike: when your AI employee looks something up in what it knows, an older fact counts as much as a recent one.
- Changes are explained: when a newer fact differs from an older one, your AI employee goes with the newer one and says what changed, when, and what else changes with it.
- Checked when it matters: when an old fact matters now, your AI employee may check it against newer knowledge, the conversation and its tools. Prices, opening hours and other facts that change over time are still looked up.
- Meeting notes keep the latest meeting in view: when your AI employee writes notes on a meeting, it draws first on the newest earlier meeting with the same team and its open items, and older meetings of that team still count.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it applies to everything your AI employee already knows and to everything you teach it from now on.
Updates to this feature
Your AI employee keeps the whole conversation in mind again
Replies in long chats take the whole conversation into account again, and a message sent in a topic still brings that topic's own history.
Scheduled tasks keep your AI employee's memory clean
Your AI employee learns a scheduled task's instructions once, and a run that comes back empty adds nothing to its memory.
Big spreadsheet reports your AI employee learns from are read faster
In our tests, a report with 20,000 merged cells is read in under a second, with exactly the same text as before.
Your AI employee knows how much of a long PDF it has read
Your AI employee is told how many pages of a very long PDF it read, and that the remaining pages were not read.
Your AI employee catches up on learning after limits and outages
Questions and answers that cannot be learned right away wait, are tried again with growing pauses, and are learned once the problem is gone.
Your newest correction to your AI employee stays in force
Your newest correction stays current, and an older message that is learned late is kept only as history behind it.
