Topics now work in your chats with people too. Move any message, yours or theirs, into your own topic tabs, and the other person's chat stays exactly as it was.

Why it matters
Long chats with a colleague or with VEP Support stay easy to follow. Each subject keeps its own tab, draft and unread count, so you can pick up one thread without scrolling past the others.
- Before
- Your own topics worked only in chats with your AI employee, so a long chat with a colleague stayed one stream.
- Now
- You sort a colleague's messages into your own topics, and a notification opens the message right in its topic.
What you get
- Your own tabs in chats with people: move any message, yours or the other person's, into one or more of your topics, on phone, tablet and computer.
- Their chat stays the same: the other person never sees your topics or which messages you moved, and nothing changes on their side.
- Replies follow: when someone replies to a message you moved, the reply joins its topic. Other new messages arrive in the main tab.
- Each tab keeps its own draft and unread count, and a message you send from a topic tab lands in that topic.
- Search, then move: search one topic or the whole chat, and move everything the search finds into a topic in one go. You can undo it right after.
- Notifications open the right topic: a notification opens the message inside its topic and names the topic. A message that lands only in topics you muted makes no sound.
How to use it
Early access: switched on for selected companies. Topics work in your chats with people, VEP Support included, on phone, tablet and computer.
Move a message
In a chat with a colleague, touch and hold any message, or right-click it on a computer, and choose Move to Topic. Tick a topic, or create one with New Topic.
Move several at once
Choose Select, tick the messages you want and choose Move to Topic. On a computer, Shift-click to pick a range, or drag the selection onto a tab.
Search and move
Search the chat with This Topic or Whole Chat, then choose Move All to Topic… to move every message the search found.
Good to know
- Changed your mind? Every move offers Undo right after it.
