When a scheduled task can't run, the people who can fix it are told
For business owners and admins
Part of One-time reminders and an alert when a reply arrives
When a scheduled task cannot run because its AI account stopped working or reached its limit, the people who manage that account get a notice. That holds even when one of them set up the task.
Why it matters
A task that runs on its own, such as a daily team summary, has nobody watching its chat. When the people who manage its AI account hear about the problem, they can fix it before more runs are missed.
- Before
- If the person who set up a task also managed its AI account, the problem showed only in the task's own chat, which nobody reads while the task runs.
- Now
- The people who manage a scheduled task's AI account get a notice in VEP, and the task's chat keeps a short line about what happened.
What you get
- Who is told: the people who manage that AI account, such as the person who connected it or your company's business owners, whether or not one of them set up the task.
- Where it arrives: in your chat with that AI employee, or as a message from VEP Support if you have no such chat. If a lead AI employee brings you decisions (in early access), it comes in that conversation instead.
- A short line in the task's chat: it says who was told and, when a limit is the cause, when the AI employee can answer again.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: it applies to every scheduled task your AI employees run.
Part of: One-time reminders and an alert when a reply arrives
Ask your AI employee for a one-time reminder, a scheduled task that ends on a date, or an alert when the Gmail reply you are waiting for arrives.
