When one AI account fails, other AI employees' tasks keep running

Part of One-time reminders and an alert when a reply arrives
When the AI account that one AI employee runs on stops working, only that AI employee's reminders and scheduled tasks pause. The others keep running, and the paused ones switch back on by themselves once the account works again.
Why it matters
Admins can fix one AI account without losing the whole company's schedules. Morning summaries, reports and reminders of your other AI employees go on as planned, and the people whose tasks paused are told.
- Before
- When one AI employee's AI account stopped working, scheduled tasks across the whole company could switch off without a word and stay off until someone turned them on.
- Now
- Only the affected AI employee's tasks pause, you are told which ones and why, and they switch back on by themselves after its AI account is reconnected.
What you get
- Only its own tasks pause: the reminders and scheduled tasks of your other AI employees keep running.
- Back on by themselves: within a few minutes of the AI account working again, after a reconnect, a renewal or a switch to another account, the paused tasks switch back on.
- You are told: the person who gets a task's results finds an unread note in their chat with that AI employee, naming the task, why it paused and whether it comes back by itself.
- When reconnecting cannot help: the note says so and tells you how to turn the task back on yourself.
- Missed while paused: a one-time reminder whose time passed while it was paused, or a task past its end date, is marked finished, and you get a note.
- Limits that reset are not failures: a usage or spending limit that resets by itself does not switch a scheduled task off.

See what paused
Type
/routinesin your chat with the AI employee. Paused tasks show why they paused and whether they come back by themselves.Reconnect the AI account
Reconnect the AI account the note names. The paused tasks of that AI employee switch back on by themselves within a few minutes.
Turn a task back on yourself
If the note says a task stays paused, type
/routine onwith the task's number from your/routineslist.
Good to know
- Tasks that were paused before this update stay paused until you turn them back on with
/routine on.
