Sign-in alerts of your AI employee reach your phone or email
For everyone who works with an AI employee
Part of When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
When the sign-in to your own Claude or ChatGPT plan is about to end, has ended, or pauses a scheduled task, you get one notification on your phone that opens the chat, or one email when a notification cannot reach you.
Why it matters
A note inside a chat you rarely open is easy to miss. A short notification or an email means you can sign in again before your AI employee stops answering, and a morning summary does not stay paused for days without anyone noticing.
- Before
- The warning that a sign-in was ending, the note that it had ended and the pause of a scheduled task often showed up only in your chat with that AI employee.
- Now
- Each of these events also sends you one short notification that opens your chat with that AI employee, or one email to your VEP account address.
What you get
- One notification per event: a sign-in about to end, a sign-in that ended, and a scheduled task paused by it each send one short notification, and the same event is never sent twice.
- It opens the chat: tap the notification, or the link in the email, and your chat with that AI employee opens, with the full note and the link to sign in again.
- Email when a notification cannot reach you: with no device set up for VEP notifications, or with message notifications turned off or muted, the same short text arrives by email at your VEP account address.
- Only what you can fix: alerts cover the sign-in to your own Claude or ChatGPT plan or your company's, never VEP usage, and a new sign-in that ends later is a new event.
- Notes you missed: a sign-in note from the last 30 days that is still unread in VEP is sent once as a notification or email too.
- Sent to the person who can act: whoever is told in VEP about the sign-in or set up the scheduled task, on every device where they turned on notifications for VEP.
How to use it
Nothing to switch on: turn on notifications for VEP on your phone to get them there, otherwise they arrive by email.
Part of: When an AI employee is unavailable, the right person is told
If an AI employee is unavailable, the person who can fix it gets one alert, others get a short plain note, and waiting questions are answered later.
