Start the connection in the chat with your AI employee and sign in to ChatGPT: that AI employee answers with ChatGPT as soon as the chat confirms it.
Why it matters
You can move an AI employee onto your own ChatGPT plan in one conversation, and the chat says what happened and what to do next.
- Before
- After you connected ChatGPT from the chat, your AI employee stayed on its previous AI, so the message you sent again failed once more.
- Now
- The AI employee whose chat you connected from switches to ChatGPT, and the chat confirms it and asks you to send your message again.
What you get
- The right AI employee switches: only the AI employee whose chat you started from moves to ChatGPT. Your other AI employees keep the AI they use.
- A clear next step: the chat confirms the connection and asks you to send your message again. If the switch cannot be saved, it tells you where to switch by hand.
- Nothing changes by accident: a sign-in that is refused, runs out or is still waiting switches nothing.
- Any device: the chat gives you a link and a one-time code, so you can sign in to ChatGPT on your phone or your computer.
How to use it
Start in the chat
Open the chat with the AI employee that should use ChatGPT and type
/connect codex, VEP's command for ChatGPT. In the chat with your own AI employee,/connect codex personalconnects your own account for it alone.Sign in to ChatGPT
Open the link from the chat on any device, sign in to your ChatGPT account and enter the one-time code the chat shows.
Send your message again
Wait for the chat to confirm the connection. When it says this AI employee now answers with ChatGPT, send your message again.
Good to know
- Without the word personal, a company admin connects the account for the whole company, and the AI employee you started from switches to it.
- The link and the code work for 15 minutes. If they run out, type the command again for new ones.
- If your ChatGPT plan cannot run this AI employee, the chat says so and nothing is stored.
